BizClik has released The Procurement Survey 2025, offering insight from 642 global procurement leaders on AI, strategy, and digital transformation
“Procurement is undergoing a fundamental shift. Leaders are being asked to do more with less while navigating complexity, disruption, and opportunity. This survey is a snapshot of that transition – and a roadmap for those looking to lead through it.”
Glen White, CEO of BizClik
Key Findings from The Procurement Survey 2025
- AI is reshaping procurement operations: AI is already delivering value across procurement, with over 60% of leaders highlighting impact in spend classification, analytics, and supplier risk management.
- Procurement is focused on strategic value, not just cost: While 68% still prioritise cost efficiency, more leaders are now investing in supplier collaboration, ESG compliance, and innovation.
- The Chief Procurement Officer is rising in prominence: 39% say the CPO will gain greater strategic influence within five years, while 28% see the role becoming increasingly technology-led.
- Legacy systems continue to hinder progress: Despite momentum, 62% of leaders say legacy infrastructure and integration remain major barriers to digital transformation.
